Powder tile adhesive

TA200 powder tile adhesive is a cement-based tile adhesive with a variety of material and polymer additive suitable for the installation of all types of stone ceramic, tile and mosaic.

Usage:

TA200 powder tile adhesive is used in cases where there is need for an economical tile adhesive with properties suitable for mounting all types of stone, ceramic, tile and mosaic on vertical and horizontal surfaces on concrete, stone, plaster tile, etc.

Method of use:

The surface of the substrate should be smooth and, if necessary, thoroughly cleaned and then the excess water should be removed to reach proper adhesion between the adhesive and the substrate. MEGACEM REPAIR M30 or MEGACEM REPAIR M40 restorative mortars may be used to smooth the substrate surface. Gradually add 25 kg of powder to 6-6.3 lit (24 to 25 %) of water and stir for 2 to 3 minutes. Preferably with a low-speed stirrers. AT 2o degrees, it works well for up to 60 minutes. Making the adhesive too stiff or too smooth cannot cause proper adhesion or carry the weight of the piece. To install components on walls, inside pools, wet areas, and floor heating, use MEGASET BA12 sealant products instead of one-third to one-half water. The prepared adhesive can be performed by a trowel or ribbed spade or sometimes in the form of scoping. When installing, place the tile, ceramic or stone by pressure and preferably sliding motion. For large parts installation on wall surfaces, due to the heavy weight of the parts and low absorption multi-stage installation operations are performed at appropriate intervals.

The performing temperature should be above 10 oC. The jointing should preferably be released from about 24 hours to 3 days after adhesion, depending on the size of the components.

Maintenance:

Keep in a close, dry, indoors place, under a proper storage conditions and away from direct sunlight. Under proper storage condition and in the first package it can be used up to 12 months after production.
